Hunger is an underrated feeling. We have the luxury in countries like Australia where we actually forget what it’s like to be hungry.
There’s no harm in going to bed hungry, as long as you get a good night’s sleep. The question is, if you go to bed hungry, are you’re gonna wake up at two in the morning, fancying a ham sandwich? So really, it’s up to you, but there’s no harm in going to bed hungry. Some people who’ve got say type one diabetes, who are on insulin, they need to be very careful about monitoring their hunger and their appetite, and they’ve got enough blood sugar on board, but for most of us, it’s actually not a problem.
For children, you do not want children to be hungry late at night or first thing in the morning. Kids need a really good start in the day. But for most of us, a little bit of hunger, if you’re losing weight, why complain?
